I think that this song is about an interview with a music company, or a job interview. The interviewer might have promissed thigs that they never followed through on, then Avril realized that they were full of $h!t and she didnt want to be involved with them.

I really love this song....it should have been on Under My Skin... ahhhh, this song reminds me of how good Avril used to be...before the new album which totally sucks IMO.
