I love what she does with her voice after "and if he loves me then why does he leave?"

Regina is amazing.

This song to me is just about being love.

You know, when you first fall in love, and you dont entirly realise that you have, when your lover has to leave, and they walk through the door, and nothing else maters. all you can think aobut is them walking away. The first few weeks, where love is like an illness.

For me this song describes that moment.

And her own little piece of advice, the thing you have to keep on reminding yourself

"Don't say goodbye like you're burying him Cause the world is round and he might return"

that. just that, this song helped me =D

This song, like it seems a lot of other of Regina's songs, to me, is about someone naive and scared of the outside world. She doesn't want to leave perfection, but once love is entered into the picture, it makes it more perfect, but when he leaves, she can't help but feel like something is missing.

And the part about eating beats and love, makes me picture the character as a monster, haha.

to me its like in this song she is almost talking to herself in way or talking to a higher being when she asks "but if he loves me then why does he leave?" in a way it makes me feel like second guessing your love and btw i love love love this song it helps me out sometimes

what does "You are mistaken cause i do not bite Over the williamsburg bridge on a bike" mean?

I think it's about her lover having to leave her for a long amount of time. Something epic, big & dramatic.

i love how the words she chooses makes it sound like double entendre. "my heart eats beats-tsts-eats-tsts-beats-tsts... " if you eat beats then you know you can get all redish purple..and that makes me think that her heart is messy and bleeding...and her heart also beats...as the second message....great great song... for some reason it makes me think of king kong....like hes a monster and all the people run...but he just wants love...hes practicly human his heart beats too....and people get the wrong impression...but his story is passed down through generatons in our society... they keep making his movies so we never truly bury him
