O God Where Are You Now? (In Pickerel Lake? Pigeon? Marquette? Mackinaw?) Lyrics

O God, hold me now.
O Lord, hold me now.

There's no other man who could raise the dead.
So do what You can to annoint my head.

O God, where are you now?
O Lord, say somehow.

Da da da, da da da.

O God, hold me now.
O God touch me now.

There's no other man who could save the day.
There's no other god who could raise the dead.

Da da da, da da da...

This band gets MAJOR props for covering a Sufjan Stevens song, AND for actually doing it pretty well.

I think I like the cover better, it has a better build and instrumentation to it. I love Stevens' heartfelt playfulness, but DCB's gets to me more. I love the bass drum at the end. It's like a heartbeat.
