The Oscillator's Hum Lyrics
It's important that you run and it's important that you rise
It's important that you set yourself upon a new disguise
The snipers by the falls'll be delivering their calls:
Hey, George, look what they've found
I keep talking about what everybody's talking about
Where's my baby coming out, she's trapped in a hole, she's calling out
The snipers by the falls'll be delivering their calls:
Hey, George, look what they've found
And the walker in the field and the building that we build
It's a pornographic guild, it's the business that we build
And the oscillator hums when the passive preacher strums
And I hear the wooden drums, sing his portion, sing his sum
Oh, it's a pity your baby died
But I don't do drugs
The snipers by the falls'll be delivering their calls:
Hey, George, look what they've found
Well, I keep running out, the papacy is running out
The pharmacy is running out, the heretics are calling out
The snipers by the falls'll be delivering their calls:
Hey, George, look what they've found
I know when the bottom breaks from Autumn aches
Oh lord, I ate a billion cakes
Cold alarm, cold alarm
It's a pity your baby died
It's important that you set yourself upon a new disguise
The snipers by the falls'll be delivering their calls:
Hey, George, look what they've found
Where's my baby coming out, she's trapped in a hole, she's calling out

I have no idea what this song is about, but I am pleasantly surprised that "Oh lord, I ate a billion cakes" is apparently the actual line. That's what I thought it sounded like but I didn't think that could actually be what he was saying.
does anyone know what this song is talking about?
though i do love where he sings "it's a pity, it's a pity, it's a pity your baby died."
i love it! from the first listen, its so odd and original :)
