maybe i'm just interpreting this wrong because of the way im feeling right now

i think this song is about a person who's pessimistic about love. their significant other cares alot about them but they're afraid to let them because they're scared of getting hurt("Wait for me/I’m so afraid/But you always seem so secure/And oh so sure"). they've probably been hurt alot of times before ("But everything I keep close to me runs away/It’s such a shame").

that's just my perspective. and itf thats not what it means, then oh well. it means how i feel right now, hah.

i'm so happy that these lyrics were finally approved! this song is sosososo amazing the different voice sounds are breathtaking, i love it.

i think the meaning behind it is that this person is afraid to confront someone about something that has been bothering about them for fear of making them angry [[ i always dream about a deadly earthquake that shakes the state .. always makes it oh so hard to speak and see i can't escape ]] and he later says that this person wants him to confront them about it, but he can't. [[ wait for me, i'm so afraid .. i'm sorry i still haven't changed ]]

Yeah, I don't get it either Jonnyxx. As soon as I saw the name I thought of the cute little Nintendo character. I love this song! I can relate to it a lot but why is it called "Kirby". Somebody else said it was a code name. Why?

I think....the dude really likes the girl. He wants to tell her, but he's really nervous and maybe even afraid of comittment because of things that have happened before (I'm so sorry, but everything i keep close to me runs away) so maybe past failed relationships make him scared of comittment. so he decides to just keep it to himself, not let anyone know about it (i'll hide amongst the trees) and then when she wants to tell him something, like confess her feelings for him too?? (And when the grouind all breaks) he's still so scared of getting into a serious relationship and getting hurt again he'll just run away from it (i'll just run away. im sorry i still havent changed) haha. idk if its right. but its kinda how i feel sometimes lol.
