The Grace Lyrics
This song was written about a man who wants to take his life because he feels he can't find where or what his purpose is in this world. He is struggling with his inner angels and demons, and he's fighting his own voices to figure out what's right. He is basically asking for help. The original title is 'The Grace Of A Happy Death."
This is such a beautiful song. I can't help but tear up when I hear the song. I'm listening to the song right now and all I'm really thiking is that the guy has lost someone and they realize that nothing will be the same because that someone is no longer with them. Death? I don't know. Breakup, runaway? All I know is that I love this song.
This song just puts me in a great place. Like nothing else is going on around me. It's a beautifully sad song, and having Dallas sing it was a great idea.
Amazing, not sure if this song would hit so hard if it wasnt for dallas' amazing vocals and passion , just a masterpiece really....
I reallly can't believe this is sung by the same Dallas Green! This song is awesome!
I guess what TheRapture said about the meaning sounds about right so I'm not going to say anything else on the subject!
The first time i heard this song i was in love with it.. i think its about someone who is depressed and lonely and feels like he belongs somewhere else like killing himself and stuff... im not sure but uts an amazing song Dallas Green sounds amazing with this song i cant wait to hear more about this band
My friend introduced me to this song, and the second I heard it I could relate at least partially to the lyrics. Now, it seems more and more of it becomes clearer every day. I think it's about someone who is extremely lost, and doesn't know where to turn. He had someone before, but he feels as though they've left him and will never come back.
AMAZING Song! Im addicted to Dallas! Does anyone else have City and Colour syndrom??? haha
i definately do i love his cd so much i fall asleep to it every night its so beautiful
Yeah.. definitely a suicide song. But it's so pretty, you can't think of it as a sad song.
God, I love Dallas.
