have you tried reading the lyrics in the cd booklet. they are in two different colours: white and black. if you continue to read just the white lyrics it kinda makes sense. same with the black ones

eg:

and then further on in the song

I AM NOT YOU we could have I'M ALMOST THROUGH great success IT'S ABOUT TIME such a success THAT YOU CAME THROUGH

i think its about his visions if he got involved in a certain relationships, of what would be the problems, because ths person she free and happy and he isnt so he would haveto change his ways

i like how the lyrics are divided into two perspectives:

This song has a very weird chorus melody... it sort of chromatically ratchets down a note every 2 bars, but only the last note. I'm not entirely sure I like it...

The main riff, however, is just spectacularly cool sounding. And the chorus is totally stuck in my head, which is a good sign. The part where the band kicks in with "I can't get along with all your friends..." just rules.

lyrics are wrong, about julian only sees the negative side of things, and when he meets someone that happy and free he put no effort, or expense into this "i cant get along with your friends" i think friends, hes meaning friends in his wacked mind
