"49 percent, 1 percent short of half, and less then half ain't really much of nothing..."
Perhaps he is refering to the person he is with, being less then half devoted to him, and when you think about it, less then half isn't worth it, so he says forget it and backs out of the relationship.
I never really listened to the lyrics (the Angello & Ingrosso remix will do that to you!) but upon reading them, it looks like it's about a guy who's been burnt in his current relationship (marriage? "I know about your little fling/How you hide your ring"), but doesn't get angry, just wants to make things better again. Well, that's how I see it, anyway.
Dunno where the "49 percent" fits into things, though.
i do like this song to do with his gf/wife leaving him? 49% could be her saying she wants to stay less than half, like more of her wants to leave - which is why he says he wont stop her i duno i really like the electronic bit which comes in after about a minute
Amazing lyrics!!! It's hard to come up with all those rhymes to go with the beat and make it come across halfway intelligent!
