Refill Me Lyrics
I love my job
I love the house i live in
And i love my mom
I love the teachers at my school
They teach me how to love
But best of all
I love the pills the doctor gives me
Dont talk
Shut up
Just refill me
Cause im feeling kind of low today
And the pills will make it go away
My friends are great
All they do is talk
But have nothing to say
I love L.A.
The air is beautiful
And its sunny every day
I love the pills the doctor gives me
Dont talk
Shut up
Just refill me
Cause im feeling kind of low today
And the pills will make it go away
Better off like this
Than to feel the real shit
This haze, this fog, this place
Twist the top
Give me another kiss
I love the pills the doctor gives me
Dont talk
Shut up
Just refill me
Cause im feeling kind of low today
And the pills will make it go away
Go away!
Go away!
I love the house i live in
And i love my mom
I love the teachers at my school
They teach me how to love
But best of all
Dont talk
Shut up
Just refill me
Cause im feeling kind of low today
And the pills will make it go away
All they do is talk
But have nothing to say
I love L.A.
The air is beautiful
And its sunny every day
Dont talk
Shut up
Just refill me
Cause im feeling kind of low today
And the pills will make it go away
Than to feel the real shit
This haze, this fog, this place
Twist the top
Give me another kiss
Dont talk
Shut up
Just refill me
Cause im feeling kind of low today
And the pills will make it go away
Go away!

Duh.. someone addicted to drugs.. but not just illegal ones. But it also has deeper meanings, can be talking about shallow relationships.
I Think this song is about the people who take anti-depressants and dont really need them. More so just like the people who are down and think they're depressed. our quick fix society we have people who get a little down and dont deal with it appropriate so run to the medication. However im not against anti depressants because God knows that truely is a disease and a horrible one to battle indeed. But not everyone on the pills have the problem.
hmm i would have to say this song is being sarcastic about things(verse 1 and 2) i read somewhere that this album is full of sarcasm..i think this might be an example..it's great none the less clearly under-rated.
Yep MorningLight, I think you're right. If life was so great he wouldn't need the drugs. I've been there, drugs and alcohol to kill the pains of everyday life. My parents didn't care when I was younger, but now they do. If it wasn't for then, I wouldn't be the individual I am now, taking life as it comes, through everyone's destructive lies.
One of my favourite SES songs... But. yeah, its obviously about a drug addiction. And with verse 1 and 2,...maybe his pills make him feel happy, so he likes everything that is going on....or at least thats what i get from those.
Pills will make you go away they don't touch up they just refill you.

He had a friend who took 30+ norco's every day who eventually ended up dying in a motor cycle accident while he was spun. It's about him.
