I don't want your solutions
And I don't want to deal with your mistakes
No matter how much medication
The doctor says I need to take
I still say

You're the ones that kill your babies
You're the ones that fuck your kids
You're the ones that throw each other away
You're the ones sitting in church every Sunday

And I don't want your religions
And I don't need your sympathies
And I don't want a part of all your hatred
No matter how much you yell at me
I still say

not sure i agree with this song and/or you guys' interpretation of it. wiredmonkiekiller: are you saying that the only people that do 'evil shit' are the ppl that go to church? wow, that's pretty friggin ignorant. i think the song is mainly aimed at the lead singer's parents, as they seem to be extremely religious. my point is that not every religious person is an 'evil shit'-doing freak.

No, the lyrics definately are NOT aimed toward Sean's parents, lol. Sean and his mom are really close. It's most likely not meant toward anyone in particular, but just trying to say that the religious population isn't as innocent as they pretend to be.

Religion itself has been known to pull people apart- I dont agree with it, but I do beleive in christianity. Anyways- I think it is true though. There are so many hypocrates who think they are good people only because they go to churh every sunday

dude, this song is really, really deep, and it's an awesome song. it's talkin about hypocrits in an overall manner, and just as capriciouspoet said, "religion itself has been known to pull people apart" i am catholic, so i dont agree with ALL of the song, but sometimes yah, i can see what they meant with the song.
