Alright guys, I'm going to tell you the story behind this beautiful song.
When Dallas was on tour with alexisonfire, they went to a teeny little venue in northern Delaware called the Harmony Grange. While he was here in Delaware, he fell in love with a girl, but unfortunately had to continue on tour with the band. He wrote this song to describe his emotions in having to be away from the girl.
this song, like a lot of city and colour fucking kills me.
This song is great, i'd like to think it means more that just him being away on tour possibly or just away for a little while. But there is one thing that is certain is that he cant stand being away from the girl that has been left behind. i guess its about being away from something that you really need and cant live without. "there goes my life" the farther he gets away from her

It aint about dallas hating Alexisonfire! cos there writing a new album, and if he really did hate it he could just leave, no one can own a person and control them. I think that its just about missing your loved one while your away for what ever reason it is (in his case it is about being away on tour.)

I don't really care about the meaning behind it all I know is that this song is amazing. The first time I heard it I had to play it over and over again because it was soo sweet . I LOVE Dallas so much and i love alexisonfire
I agree with you deathcab, I feel this song (along with half their songs) have to do with a sadness caused by the absence of a lady friend. I like how he timelines his tour and picks up a happier note when he says "and I will see you again..." unfourtunatly from all his other sings we know how this relationship ends...how said :(
also, I would like to commend the acoustics in all his works, they make my free time more joyous.
Everyone keep in mind that Delaware is an agricultural/industrial state with nothing at all except a tiny beach down on the southern corner. :D I don't know if that helps with your meanings, but it could in a way.

This song is most definatly about Dallas being on tour..counting down the days to see his 'lady friend'...This song is so amazing on like 80 different levels, along with everything else Dallas has ever been involved in. I wish i could have his babies.Oh, also.. the song title is a line from Waynes World,which was the first thing that came to mind when I heard this song :)
