Hey, you haven't been around for anything except big brother, spice girls and final destination. Your generation is what sucks and the music in general.... one big lousy headache.

This song is about a woman who finally realizes that she is being jerked around by some ass who constantly lies to her, takes advantage of her, whatever. She's fed up with his crap, and realizes that she needs to move on.

kip, i strongly disagree what she said, but our generation does not suck and the music is good. we have had amazing artists such as alanis moirsette and big brother and final destination both suck. so take that up your pipe and smoke it :P

Coming back to what the song means, I think the problem is not that the guy is bad for her but that he says I'm sorry without really meaning it. Like a lot of guys do something stupid and then the only thing thay can think about is to say I'm sorry, while what they should do is change or go to hell.

well, i have the guts to say OUR GENERATION DOES SUCK. things need to change. i'm only 17, but i admire and appreciate madonna and her music. nowadays, music is nothing other than s*it. i hope madonna keeps kicking out great songs (like she always has) because this generation definitely needs to be showed how it's done.

HarlequinGirl, that was really a cheap comment, based on your own personal opinion. Madonna is one of the bestknown singers out there, her number of fans are endless. To this day, her songs from the '80s are still favorites, so next time you open your mouth, think of the stupid words about to come out. And Kip, yours was just as ridiculous. HarlequinGirl is the same as my generation, and yes, alot of things in our generation are ridiculous, but don't go off saying all of it sucks, because many artists are very good. I mean, Madonna is singing for our generation nowadays, is she not?

I love this song, it's probaly close to one of my favorite new songs of hers. She's so talented, and at her age, she looks amazing.
