This song is one of her best.

This song reminds me so much of her Ray of Light era. But more fresh. I love how on the this album she starts out about love and dancing then towards the end she gets more personal and spiritual.

this is one of my favorite parts in the song. i think this song is about being spiritual (not religious) and looking up to a higher being.

It's definitely spirtual and about "the light" as she refers to a lot. It's basically about never giving up on life because there is heaven after this life and it can be yours, just fight the darkness or evil. The song is called Issac because that is the name of the man singing in the song. She didn't know what to name the song so she named the song after him. :P

I recognized the first part of this song from the Ofra Haza song, "im nin'alu."

I think this really has religious context, and even tho i'm quiet the "anti" religion, i still love this song, its a musical master-piece and is great live.

I think the song is about erm feeling that no matter where your from, as long as you set out to go good, heaven is always open for you. because "Im nin'alu" is a Hebrew poem, in which it says "Im nin'alu daltei n'divim daltei marom lo nin'alu" which means Even if the gates of the rich will be closed, the gates of heaven will not be closed.

This song meaning touches upon the life of Isaac, who was offered up as a sacrifice by his father Abraham. It was a test. Isaac was Abraham's test. Also it's the test of life when it's so difficult and you don't want to go on but you realize this is all school down here or a test. To be on your earth is to wrestle with darkness and when you do it you get help (angels) but you can transcend all this misery by experiencing God here on earth (even though your spirit's broken) A lot of Madonna's music has this, what I think is channeled, mystical connotations even though she certainly doesn't seem to manifest any wisdom in the way she conducts herself. She's very insecure.

the song is spiritual i dont know why but in the start part " Im nin'alu Daltei n'divim Daltei n'divim Daltei marom " everytime i hear this but that makes me scared and tremble ! maybe it reminds me of the death ...

the song is about judgement i guess ... that means when u die there s no end and u ll rise up to another world for judgment and even if u were a very bad person and u think the gates of heaven will never open for u , but there s always an open door ...

when u die and then find urself in heavens , and ll know that ur place is the hell ! unless God will give u a chance .. if u wanna be out from hell u must be testing again in another land or in another way by some pain , will u accept it or will u accept hell ?! this is that open door ... feeling pain for forgiveness ...
