This song is about a guy that broke it off with someone that he loved and endeared with all of his heart, but he lied and decieved her. So he let her go. Now after he let her go he realizes that she was his entire world, and would do anything to get her back. But he knows that it isn't possible. He knows this is a pain that he will have to live with forever, and that he will never have full closure.

This song really hits home to me. This is very much the situation I had with the love of my life. I let her go because I thought she could do so much better than me. Now I have to live with that fact everyday....That I let my one true love walk way, and that there is nothing I can do to get her back.

He thinks that the girl is so perfect, and he himself is disgusting and wrong. He thinks she needs something better than him, because she's so great.

to me the best song on the cd! Means alot to me, mostly in the fact that i wanted to leave my gf cause i thought she deserved better than me, but i regret it alot. I always seem to think about it still, and this song hits me.

This song breaks my heart

You can hear the pain when the song is sang, it just makes me miss every person that I've had a bad ending to a relationshio with. Anyway, I think that this song is about him cheating on his girlfriend but she never finds out. He begins to feel guilty because he keeps lying to her and acting likes things are good (I think you can do much better than me After all the lies I made you believe. Guilt kicks in...) but he feels guilty so he breaks it off with her, probably quickly, she wasn't expecting it, so neither really had real closure, because he wanted to let her know the truth and she'll never know the real reason. And now he feels stupid for ending it and not coming clean. I really, really, love this song!

i didn't focus on the whole aspect of "i'm gonna break up with you because i know you deserve better than me"... i focused on the "I really miss your hair in my face And the way your innocence tastes" part. and him dedicating a song for me was nice. so it's all good. ♥

i think that a lot of guys can really relate to this song it especially hits my heart hardd when he says "I told myself I won’t miss you But I remembered What it feels like beside you"

This song is great in many ways cuz many people can relate to this song for one. This song is also about this guy who loved his girlfriend so much that he thought that he wanted her to be happy, so he thought that without him there that she would find someone better and be happier then she was with the guy, but in the process missing everything about her and remembering good memories with this girl which really gets to you if u know how it feels or if u experienced this yourself:(.
