This song is about a guy that broke it off with someone that he loved and endeared with all of his heart, but he lied and decieved her. So he let her go. Now after he let her go he realizes that she was his entire world, and would do anything to get her back. But he knows that it isn't possible. He knows this is a pain that he will have to live with forever, and that he will never have full closure. This song really hits home to me. This is very much the situation I had with the love of my life. I let her go because I thought she could do so much better than me. Now I have to live with that fact everyday....That I let my one true love walk way, and that there is nothing I can do to get her back. |

For me it is about someone that pushes everything and everyone away and is afraid to let his feelings and emotions for anything cloud his judgement. So he convinces himself that his feelings are not real. So he doesn't have to deal with life. | |
