Dust in the Sunlight Lyrics

What has been done to you
has been done for a reason
From where I'm stood,
the view reminds me of home
A promise is made in good faith,
it means everything

You mean more to me each day
and you mean everything, everything
What has been done to you
has been done for a reason
From where I'm stood,
the view reminds me of home

I should know, I should know,
I won't fight, I won't fight
Well I won't fight, I won't fight,
well I won't fight, well I won't fight
Fight, fight, fight
Well I won't fight
Well I won't fight
Well I won't fight
Fight, fight, fight

its off the single for "Bullets" i think....something like that. to me, this song's kinda of defeated, but at the same time gorgeous. its like he's saying that he's giving up on something, but thats ok, because he's kinda happy with what he's got? .....i'm probably really really really wrong.

sometimes even though you love someone very much you hurt that person unwillingly and regret it later but u repeat it .however you never want to give up that person so u try to mend his heart .And in the line" A promise is made in good faith, it means everything" the promise is a kind of an apology and at the end it says i wont fight it meaning he has done whatever he can and he leaves the rest to her. he wont fight anymore. this is what i get and cant find any other interpretation. GREAT SONG

is it just me or is he singing "I want fire" instead of "I wont fight it"?
