Real Love Lyrics
All my little plans and schemes
Gone like some forgotten dream
Seems like all I really was doing
Was waiting for you
Just like little girls and boys
Playing with their little toys
Seems like all they really were doing
Was waiting for love
Don't need to be alone
No need to be alone
It's real love,
yes it's real,
yes it's real love
It's real
From this moment on I know
Exactly where my life will go
Seems that all I really was doing
Was waiting for love
Thought I'd been in love before,
But in my heart I wanted more
Seems like all I really was doing
Was waiting for you
Don't need to be afraid
No need to be afraid
It's real love
Yes it's real,
yes it's real love
It's real...
Gone like some forgotten dream
Seems like all I really was doing
Was waiting for you
Playing with their little toys
Seems like all they really were doing
Was waiting for love
No need to be alone
yes it's real,
yes it's real love
It's real
Exactly where my life will go
Seems that all I really was doing
Was waiting for love
But in my heart I wanted more
Seems like all I really was doing
Was waiting for you
No need to be afraid
Yes it's real,
yes it's real love
It's real...

It's such a pleasure to be the first person to comment on this song!
Actually, I wan't able to hear John Lennon as a solo artist singing this song. I hope I can, someday.
It is about a person who has no goal in life. Until he met this person. After that, it was just like magic. He was transformed. He now has a goal and that person is his inspiration.
pJ ;P
The version on the Lennon Anthology is so great, the piano is real, the vocals are deep, I just love it!
regina spektor did this song for the cd instant karma towards darfur.
it's real good.
I like the acoustic version and the "beatles" version. I wasnt too big of a fan of the piano version. But my favorite one is probably the acoustic version. Very raw and real. Plus it was a good opener for the Imagine movie.
in Funny People, Adam Sandler sang it, and did it somewhat justice, but more importantly the composition in the movie seemed to be a perfect blend of the acoustic and the Beatles version, I really wish Lennon sang it like that
