The Lonely Dead Lyrics
Alone is to feel death crawling beneath your skin
We must remember the dead
I look down to the ground before me
Worried no longer, we were free for the first time
Now more lonely than we ever been
Around the fire we wonder; if they are alone as we are
The lonely dead lonely
Alone is to feel death crawling beneath your skin
We must remember the dead
Around the fire we wonder; if they are alone as we are
The lonely dead lonely
Dead we are the lonely dead, dead we are the lonely dead
When we speak we speak of the new age
And we realize the dead
Our lives live in the ruin of change
Our first choice was to bury them
Our first choice was to bury them
Dead we are the lonely dead, dead we are the lonely dead
When we speak we speak of the new age
And we realize the dead
Our lives live in the ruin of change
Dead we are the lonely dead, dead we are the lonely dead
We must remember the dead
Worried no longer, we were free for the first time
Now more lonely than we ever been
The lonely dead lonely
We must remember the dead
The lonely dead lonely
When we speak we speak of the new age
And we realize the dead
Our lives live in the ruin of change
Our first choice was to bury them
When we speak we speak of the new age
And we realize the dead
Our lives live in the ruin of change

This great song,i think is about new lifes and human depressions and machine lifes that makes the sentiments lost!!!!!!!!
Amazing song, though I'm not completely clear on the meaning... The whole album is a story, so maybe the Lonely Dead are the ones who were rejected by society. They're dead to society, and they have only each other and their own revolutionary thoughts to guide them and keep them company. I saw God Forbid live, and I got to scream into the mic during this song. Byron switched off with me during the "remember the dead" verse!
