i think this is a pretty obvious song, but i watched the Blue Room interview with Teddy. he had written this song when he was 11 or 12 and he had tried to keep asking this girl out over and over again and she just kept saying no.

i think it's pretty obvious that a few lines were added in, but it makes sense with the chorus.

I enjoy the meaning behind this song but I don't like the extra guitar or base part on the line, "She'll break my heart.Break my little heart." in the secound chorus or on the lines, "Why can't it be just this once alright?" I just feel like the extra guitar sounds displaced and wrong. It kinda ruins the song. But they it was pretty amazing from a 11 year old to write.

this song is actually about how teddy tried to get with this girl when he was younger but he failed many times. he talks about it on his podcast. if you listened you would know.

this song pretty much speaks for it self he tried to hard to get a girl and she didnt want him this reminds me of my self i liked this guy and hes a year older than me. i planned out my exact words when i should of been just talkin to him. the school year ended and hes goin to high school while im stuck in middle school i didnt even talk to him im such a baby. ha ha. but now i kinda have a bf hes like my bff hes 2 years older than me i love him so much hes the best

It's a pretty obvious song, i agree, and it's also my love life in words. For the past 3 years, i've always TRIED to ask this guy out. Well, he broke my heart, like so MANY times. I think i DID try too hard. Well now.....nothing. I've given up, but not fully. I'm just not expecting anything. I'm just acting like he's no one and hope (still not expecting) that he'll accept me.

Teddy is so sweet. I hope that girl he liked seriously regrets not accepting him. (she better burn in hell)
