Yeah, Shady, Aftermath
I guess you didn't know
I, be, back for more
Every-body's, on the floor
Goin' goin' outta control
Set it off on yo' left, dog
Set it off on yo' right, dog
Set it off
Nigga I said set it off

Sick with it, boy better get with it, what?
In the club I get it goin', goin', uh
Just movin' to the music it's on
And the sounds of 50 and D-R-E
Everything's calculated and sound precise
Another move another mill', let's get right aight?
Success is my drug of choice, I'm high off life
Feelin' lucky enough to bet it all on the dice
Shorty do what you wanna do, hit the dancefloor
And move how you wanna move, later on
We can cruise if you wanna cruise, it's whatever you want
The fact is I got more than I flaunt, yeah

I do my thang, in the club
Every chance I get, I tear it up
Dancefloor jampacked, look
I got 'em goin' goin' outta control
Set it off on yo' left, dog
Set it off on yo' right, dog
Set it off
Nigga I said set it off

System thumpin', dancefloor jumpin'
We 30 deep in this bitch, we stuntin'
That's what you get, you in my hood
I thought you understood, you know me
V.I.P., no ID
Bottles of DP, I do it real B-I-G
Bitches break their neck to be where I be
Take 'em to ecstasy, without ecstasy
I'm a chef you need the hit I got the recipe
Doc got the antidote, it's in the drums and the notes
Can you feel it? Em said for me to make you feel it
And remind you that you rockin' with the realest

I do my thang, in the club
Every chance I get, I tear it up
Dancefloor jampacked, look
I got 'em goin' goin' outta control
Set it off on yo' left, dog
Set it off on yo' right, dog
Set it off
Nigga I said set it off

I'm hot boy, I'm burnin' up
I do my thang in the club with the burner tucked
'Til the speakers all blown, we gon' turn it up
And do that damn thang, yeah do that mayne
Shorty, hit me high then hit me low
Get to poppin' and shakin' that thing on the flo'
A little dose of it, now I want some more
Nobody put that thang on me like that before
I be a fiend for it, it's the way you move
But I ain't payin' for it, cause I ain't no fool
If you okay with it, tonight I stay with it
Hit the telly play with it in a major way get it

I do my thang, in the club
Every chance I get, I tear it up
Dancefloor jampacked, look
I got 'em goin' goin' outta control
Set it off on yo' left, dog
Set it off on yo' right, dog
Set it off
Nigga I said set it off

omg i hate this remix the original was so much betta but ive developed a new hate for 50 cent ive decided that he is so ridiculous and stupid he has no education and the songs he has are crap about nothing all it is is a beat n frankly his candy shop album is a great disapointment it sux n im disgusted in the fact that he is so immature as to release songs based purely on disrespecting other artists e.g piggy bank which is WORSE than this song ive lost all respect for him n he has jsut lost himself a fan n i dnt think ill b the onli one who realises this either

Have you noticed that there are like thousands of comments on rock bands songs? And then in rap songs like this there is... maybe 300, on the 'popular' ones. That proves my point exactly, it proves that ROCK LOVERS , such as myself, actually care for the MEANING of the song. There aren't hardly any comments on 50's songs and he's supposed to be popular, thats because his followers don't care about the lyrics. They don't care about the meaning, and they obviously don't care about TRUE TALENT. 50 is too stupid to play an instrument, and too dumb to sing. So he talks fast, should that make him cool? NO. Get some talent 50.

And you people that like him, your only defense is "50's the bomb! He rocks! Don't hate!" HAH, good comeback. That's because you don't have a defense against us, because you KNOW this is NO talent whatsoever.

really i think this song is pretty dope. The beat sounds so sophisticated and rich. I picture this song being played while Im at a club with some bitches just chillen smoking weed and knowing that your loved by everyone and every bitch wants your nutt.

but I also think its about global warming

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
