Who is it that they're escaping from?

my first impresion was that they have an affair or something and he is going to protect her and take the 'shot' (not like a gun), like the responsibility or something, for when they are discovered
or now that i think about it maybe the girl doesn't love the man that is 'chasing' her or stalking and they are scaping from him so they can be forever and ever together and stuff

I dunno why there are only 2 comments! this song is a symbol of devotion and a great will and also courage i mean he will do anything to be with her and to protect her. I think it's a very beautiful song and the composer is really talented.

i love this song! yea i think its just an example of someone loving someone so much that they wont let anything bad happen to them and they will protect them forever, deep devotion and stuff :)
