Ok, just because there's no....word....dosn't mean it dosn't have a meaning! I think the title gives it away, it's from the pespective of a missionary, probably in some uncivlized country, and he just listenings to this song while he lays in bed. I know that I've done that, it's an abslutly amazing experience, I reccomend it (not the missionary thing, the bed thing)
Erm... I think the title is "Late Night Bedroom Rock For The Missionaries". The title might have something to do with the song before, cause=time, which has quite a few references to religion: "Then know three completes the five This is a church that should believe" I think of this one as an instrumental break between songs (in the best possibe sense).
Nope, 'cording to Amazon (I don't own the c.d, I'll get it eventually...) it's ninties.
And I see it as it's own song, I think it stands out from Cause=Time because this has a much grittier feel while Cause=Time feels much more smooth, in my opinon
I think it's meant as liek a song to have sex to... bedroom rock as in sex.. missionary is a position obviously.
just my take on the title of course.
i actually don't think the missionary position is what is being referred to. it's sex music for hardcore christians [who would be very prude & pious; and there is the irony], basically. i'm not sure what that means exactly, but if i were to imagine missionaries having sex; it would be to this.
On the back of the CD this song is called 'Late Night Bedroom Rock for the Missionsaries' but in the booklet in the case it says 'Nineties' instead of 'Night', just to clear that up.
im kinda jealous of onomatopoeia's username, its pretty sweet i wish i though of that.
the intro sounded something of a velvet underground tune.
hahahaha thanks, dustybreeze it's my username for almost every site I have an account on :P
p.s. I just realized I typed "Missionsaries" instead of "Missionaries" lol
I'm pretty sure seventeen/halfalive is right. There's a really soft voice in the background saying "All night long." Seems pretty clear to me.
