OMG could this song be anymore awesome??? I don't think so. "North, south, east, and west, foreign land is right and left" That has gotta be the catchiest thing i've ever heard. Song may be about umm not wanting to be with someone because of who they become when they're with them... Only saying that because the chorus makes it obvious... this is a really catchy song with awesome meaningful lyrics.
this chorus is really amazing.
the more i listen to the hush sound the more i fall in love. the girls voice (sorry i 4get the names) is so intoxicating.
but for me, it really gets me when the i hear the guy sing. i could sit back and listen to the hush sound all day if i had the time.

What I get from it is that the narrator is in a state of unrequited love, and he feels lost and cold and overwhelmed like you do in a big city you don't know and you get lost, hence the metaphor.
