This could be the best Fall of Troy song on Doppelganger. The backing screams sound a lot like the self titled, which unfortunatly isn't very often on the new lp.

i was thinking exact same thing, that it's a House of Leaves reference. and i think it is because "you got a deathwish.." is pretty much a direct quote. and is Hol[]y Tape a House of Leaves reference as well?
I think Johnny's friend (can't remember the name) says "You got a deathwish Truant?" to him. But yes this and The Hol[ ]y Tape are HoL references. But as far as I can tell neither of the songs are about the book.
