What a stirring invitation
Free to move from all that you belong
Why'd they have to change the station
In the middle of my favorite song
One blink, love kill
Something beneath the rainbow fell
It's falling
Daddy never did nothing wrong
He's just so innocent
Why can't we just all get along
This salt is burning it
Daddy never did nothing wrong
He's just so
What happened to 493-1023
Conversation's awful dirty
A bar of soap for all that hurting's lost
If hate could stop the worl from turning
I just wanna turn this whole thing off
You set your stake so weak
Hard to believe a word you say
Daddy never did nothing wrong
He's just so innocent
Why can't we just all get along
This salt is burning it
Daddy never did nothing wrong
He's just so
What happened to 493-1023
Opinionate
But keep it under your breath
And out of my way
493-1023
493-1023
What happened to 493-1023
What happened to 493-1023
Daddy never did nothing wrong
He's just so innocent
Why can't we just all get along

This makes me think of Divorce...or a family feud.
Awesome song =]
I do agree with sickinluv. I think 493-103 is referring to maybe their home number.
It could be a symbol of their home that's being torn apart by whatever's happening with father and the family.
It kind of makes me think of a personal situation I'm going through. You see, my mom is considering divorcing my dad, and if this had occured earlier in my life, I think this song would explain my thoughts on the situation. I would have viewed my dad as the innocent one, while my mom was "tearing apart" the family. But as I matured, I realized this is her choice, and he has done things wrong. Anyways, that's what I think this song is about, a girl whose parents are divorcing, and in her mind she just can't see her dad's fault in the situation.
