You know I'm never right
If I'm not right with you
And no one can make me feel like you do
I'll be the one to lay my heart down
On the line
So come and save me, darling
Love me one more time

'Cause you're not always right
(Ooh, and I'm not always wrong)
It's not like I don't try
This is where we belong

One way, everything's gonna be away
But darling, I'm on your side
'Cause it's a one wheel, four hands
Two hearts trying to understand
How we're gonna get there
When we're both trying to drive
We're both trying to drive

You might be right
And I'm out of touch
I guess everything I had to give
Just ain't enough
I'm trying to make the most
Out of what it's not
'Cause darling I can't give you something I ain't got

'Cause you're not always right
(And I'm not always wrong)
It's not like I don't try
This is where we belong

One way, everything's gonna be away
But darling, I'm on your side
One wheel, four hands
Two hearts trying to understand
How we're gonna get there
When we're both trying to drive

I can feel it under my seat
On the sideline of my life
Watching rain fall to the ground
To the beat of the same old fight
Every song is brewing this war
When we find ourselves in the thick of it
Give a little bit
And we'll fly, we'll fly, we'll fly

One way, everything's gonna be away
But darling, I'm on your
Darling, I'm on your side
One wheel, four hands
Two hearts trying to understand
How we're gonna get there
One wheel, four hands
Two hearts trying to understand
How we're gonna get there
When we're both trying to drive
Trying to drive (trying yeah) trying, trying to drive

Is this song about 2 people in a relationship, and they are both trying to take control of the situations that arise, and it leads to arguments/or thoughts of seperation. It seems they are trying to reassure one another that they are meant for each other they just need to learn how to give each person a turn at the wheel/in the desicion making, or learn how to compromise???

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
