Another Girl From Another Planet Lyrics
I always flirt with death
I could kill, but I don't care about it
I can face your threats
Stand up tall and scream and shout about it
I think I'm on another world with you
I'm on another planet with you
You get under my skin and
I don't find it irritating
You always play to win
I don't need rehabilitating
Another girl, another planet
Another girl, another planet
Space travels in my blood
And there ain't nothing I can do about it
Long journeys wear me out
Oh God we won't live without it
Another girl is loving you now
Another planet, forever holding you down
Another planet
I could kill, but I don't care about it
I can face your threats
Stand up tall and scream and shout about it
I'm on another planet with you
I don't find it irritating
You always play to win
I don't need rehabilitating
Another girl, another planet
And there ain't nothing I can do about it
Long journeys wear me out
Oh God we won't live without it
Another planet, forever holding you down
Another planet

the only ones made this song. this is a cover
Why does a great band like this cover such a crappy song by a crappy band like "the only ones". However it is cool just cuz Pete Doherty it is amazing in every way shape and form
Peter is a fan of the only ones. that's why.
Actually this is the one song pete said he wish that he had written
This is one of my favourite songs ever. 'The Only Ones's original is definatly the best, however this is a close second. The title is actually "Another Girl Another Planet" with the 'from' omitted. The second line is also "I look ill" as opposed to "I could kill." Also, to be totally correct it should be "space travel's." Apart from this the lyrics seem accurate. A fantastic song by an amazing band.
"You get under my skin and I don't find it irritating--I don't need rehabilitating"
"Space travels in my blood And there ain't nothing I can do about it Long journeys wear me out Oh God we won't live without it"
Is this song, by any remote chance, about heroin?
Yes, it's well known to be about heroin. It's quite a good song, but of course not by Babyshambles, Doherty or any associated acts.
it is by the only ones but pete wrote it anyway :) genious
these are the lyrics of the blink 182 cover i think they tried to ndull it down a little
Basically, in Babyshambles two of the old band members were Jamie Perrett and Peter Perrett Jnr, who are the sons of Peter Perrett who is the lead singer and song writer of The Only Ones who wrote the original. So i always thought this was a tribute to The Only Ones because of the link there is between the two bands... I think I read Peter Perrett even performed with Babyshambles when they had his two sons in the band once, so their is a connection between the two here
