Wicked Witch Lyrics
There is a demon
An evil mind
Inside us
Oh I know, I know
We all know the rules
When water will be shed
The wicked witch is....
This is the end of all the miracles
Farewell to you yellow brick road
Everything she is asking for
It all belongs to her
Now she's gone into nothingness
There she waits
Still I can hear her singing in the room
In the room I know she's gone
I've thought "She'll never fail,
All magic will be gone
The day she'll melt away"
This is the end of all miracles
Still I hear her singing in the dark
Truth has changed, her voice it stays the same
Farewell to you yellow brick road
Still I hear her singing in the dark
While time goes on her voice will fade away
"They are all, they're everything, they are mine
Silver shoes you're mine, you are mine,
You are mine"
Hate will live on
This is the end of all the miracles
Farewell to you yellow brick road
The wicked witch is dead..............
An evil mind
Inside us
Oh I know, I know
We all know the rules
When water will be shed
The wicked witch is....
Farewell to you yellow brick road
It all belongs to her
Now she's gone into nothingness
There she waits
In the room I know she's gone
I've thought "She'll never fail,
All magic will be gone
The day she'll melt away"
Still I hear her singing in the dark
Truth has changed, her voice it stays the same
Farewell to you yellow brick road
Still I hear her singing in the dark
While time goes on her voice will fade away
Silver shoes you're mine, you are mine,
You are mine"
Farewell to you yellow brick road

oompaloompa,
you called people MORONS, kid. that is SO rude. simple courtesy is NOT trivial.
Damn Loompa, but i recall reading Hansi saying the Song was about THE WITCH OF THE WEST FROM THE WIZARD OF OZ........
I agree you do have a point and after listening to the song again i change my previous statement. I agree its more about the wicked witch but not from wicked more from the original books. But it is confusing considering it is an album about the dark tower seires. Maybe a combinnation of both crea and ephalba?

Because pretty much every other song on Touched by the Crimson King is based off of the book, if you have to ask why people assume these things then maybe you should do a google search or something.
Personally I have no clue what the song is about, but it's beautiful, short and sweet.
Really easy, slow, relaxing song. About the Wicked Witch of the West (ala' Wizard of Oz) dying, how she deserves everything she has comin'.
Yeah but where does "This is the end of all the miracles" tie into this? If anything I'd say its how dorthy was actually the antagonist of the movie. How she corrupted the witch of the west by killing her sister.
I think the entire story, outside of Kansas, is being considered the "miracles", here.
When I heard this song for the first time I didn't know it's name and really listened to only the last line. The whole song sounds very tearfull and mourning and all about admiration, but in the end it's in fact relive. Maybe it's mocking the dying witch.
i like the slow version better. it has a few small lyrical differences; as well as enhancing the mournful tone. i think it's saying that
OompaLoompa, all praise to your boundless knowledge. now, why don't you try NOT insulting people over trivial bullshit. or just go back to your corner & enjoy your superiority for all it's REALLY worth.
It's not even about rhea anyway you ridiculous little oompa loompa -_-
