Apocalypso Lyrics

In Nolan time sign
What does the mind cover?
Are we talking?
White is the winter

Care-line, care-lines thumped it up
What are your stories all about?
Carries a weight on her swing
On her swing

Black waves come
And so fear me, December

Sinking in Nolan time
I lost all my pure feelings
The psychiatrist posing as psychologist
When fear predicts
Then doubly the mind suffers
Are we talking?
White is the winter

Care-line, care-lines thumped it up
What are your stories all about?
Carries a weight on her swing
On her swing

Black waves come
And so fear me, December
Sinking
Waltz with me, courageously
We're dancing, dancing

We will not die!
Our days are multiplied
And I'm happy again

Care-line, care-lines thumped it up
What are your stories all about?
Carries a weight on her swing
On her swing

its weird!! i mean, read the lyrics... best i can get out of it is theres some girl he just cant understand, he's trying to read her from the way she looks (hence her "care-lines thumbed it up", i.e. palm readin), but theyre just "dancing, dancing", and he kind of accepts that he'll never understand her. ever.

I really dont understand it. any ideas, anyone?

but i love it. :D

Is it maybe about a person locked up in himself.. The lyric looks if it is written by a person with psycholic disaster.. some split-personality maybe

It's "thumbed it up." Mew-world.com It's like their official fan club or somethin'.

Anyways. A Care-line is like a hott line for advice. It's not Caroline. It's not about palm reading.

I am pretty sure He's saying "They made things better for me." 'Cause a thumbs up means 'your good to go."

I think it's a about a guy who likes a girl and she's confusing, but he's cool with that.Like what aj_100 said.

in an interview at junkmedia.org, jonas says that apocalypso is about a fear of death. he also says that the line is "care-line, care-lines thumped it up".

I believe Jonas once said in an interview that his childhood dentist was named "Dr. Nolan". Jonas used to have some dentist-related nightmares and thus associates apocalyptic times to his name.

Actually, it wasn't his childhood dentist (if we are thinking of the same interview?) - it was when they were recording Kites in LA in 2004. Apparently the lyrics were already written at that point though so the whole thing is just a coincidence. Still neat, nonetheless.

Seems to me like a story about overcoming depression or anxieties. This pretty much says it all:

We will not die! Our days are multiplied And I'm happy again

Also there's talk about a psychiatrist posing as a psychologist. Oh an yeah, care-lines too.
