ok...This song is about life. first line about the web is about life. Isn't life and its meaning a mystery? speak/repeat- about human interaction? someone maybe be talking to you..but i'm not listenign or paying attention to you..(or who ever is speaking.) Now with the toungue reference...if you see a beautiful woman, you might wag your toungue because of your lust, or something... Sit up undressed? maybe prostitution...like exposed your self..and i'll take advantage of you (we'll do the rest) sounds kinda kinky and dirty. The chorous- Ride a tear might be the heartache and sadness of life.....though this world and then disappear. Life is short :( as for the second verse...hell if i know..

I feel this song's about figuring out your life. In the first verse, the "web" is life, and "sit up undressed" is implying the idea of being naked; not covering up things. "Tongues as long as hallway carpets" is emphasizing what the last line said, to not covering things up, only this time speaking about covering things up with lies and excuses.

The second verse is about your past. The "bones" are your memories, and to "make a new throne" means to remember them. The "faint figure in the window" is another symbolic representation of your memories, and her "word to say" is trying to show that the memories are still important; they have an impact on our lives.

The chorus perhaps could be a stark reminder that our life is short; we go "through this world and disappear."
