i think this song is about her realationship with God, not just any relationship.

I dunno what Paul says makes sense to me. And maybe the 1000 broken hearts carried by 1000 broken wings could be like....broken hearted christians and then theres other christians(Angels with wings-Or broken wings? You know that friend saying) who help carry the ones who are broken. In that way God is with us everywhere. In the sky or in the pits of the earth.

The first verse is incorrect... It goes Oh you mean so much to me - not your everything to me

this song is amazing. it kinda reminds me of wuts going on in my life right now.

she clearly states under YOUR stars, so i do believe it would be about god... and believe it or not some people believe god talk to them at times. quite like i do...and I can def. see where she wouldnt want him to leave.

and the 1000 broken hearts and 1000 broken wings, is where god gave her the strength to fly again and be happy again. "everytime she falls, hes underneath to catch her and lift her back up.

so yes, I strongly believe its about god.

Its about her being best friends with this boy and then she gradually feels herself falling in love, and she wants to tell him she just doesnt know how?... well thats the first verse any way. i dont get te rest of it

i find it funny to read these comments and see ppl adamantly arguing that this song is not about God. it is about a relationship with a friend or lover, just because this a christian band doesn't mean every song is about god. but this song is very obviously about a relationship with God and if they knew anything about it, it would be obvious to them too. the fact is, if this song is about God it is meaningless to them because they don't know him and want nothing to do with him. So they tell themselves it's about something else. yeah u can interpret this song a buch of different ways to suit you, but the truth doesn't change, and the truth is this song is about GOD.

this songs awesome i think its about someone who is in love with their best friend but cant tell them and now their friend is leaving and he/she really wants to tell their friend the truth. he/she may even be accepting the fact that they wont ever tell their friend through the lines "So close your eyes, but don't dream too deep And please pass me some memories" as if to say, "youll always be my best friend, and ill always love you but go on with your life and ill go on with mine, just dont forget me"

oh my god... this song is amazing and i am in love with her voice. i love how this song goes from completly sober to almost hardcore in 0 flat.... and the lyrics... about someone who is in love and their lover is their best friend and how she wants them there forever.... and how happy she is... then he is leaving..... she says no.. we can do what you want.... your always there for me.. you save me... but then... 1000 broken hearts ... carried by 1000 broken wings... that is the only part that confuses me. it doesnt matter. i cant stop listening to is.

this song is great, and i agree with sweetaddiction, or it can also be how she lost her friend or someone close to her
