Well, a red flag is a symbol of Communism. The video shows youth running around covering up symbols of both coercion and capitalist control with red flags. At the end they are all wearing Soviet made gas masks.
I think taken in context of the video, the song is clearly an incitement to proletarian revolution.
The red flag is used for more than communism, and they're not calling for a repeat of history. That's the point of 'the red flag never meant the same'- it's important to not simply by into the Right's redbaiting and the new McCarthyism
