My World Lyrics

You're stuck on a chain, and you're towing the line.
It seems like every time that you catch up you only fall behind.
And you're trapped inside this world you made yourself.
But that's not the world I live in, this is not the life for me.
'Cuz my world's bigger than your problems and it's bigger than me.
It's not the world I live in, this is not the life for me 'cuz my world's bigger than your problems and it's bigger than me.

There's always someone to blame for the things you do to yourself.
You think that everything that's going wrong is because of someone else.
And you're trapped inside this world you made yourself.
That's not the world I live in, this is not the life for me.
'Cuz my world's bigger than your problems and it's bigger than me.
It's not the world I live in, this is not the life for me 'cuz my world's bigger than your problems and it's bigger than me, and it's bigger than me.

'Cuz I'm on the outside and I'm looking in.
And that's not the world I live in, this is not the life for me.
'Cuz my world's bigger than your problems and it's bigger than me.
It's not the world I live in, this is not the life for me 'cuz my world's bigger than your problems and it's bigger than me.
'Cuz my world's bigger than your problems and it's bigger than me.

I think its more about people alway blaming other for their problems and never facing up to being wrong.

I think this is one of the best songs on "Seventeen Days".

To me, he seems to be saying that he's tired of seeing people try to point fingers at others for the problems that could have been avoided and he's saying "I've got my own problems to deal with without listening to you bitch about your life".

yeah along the lines of the previous comment, this song comes off to me as describing how you can't let others walk all over you and how you have to stand up for yourself at times... otherwise the problems of others' is going to drag you down. You have to live your own life.

"There's always someone to blame for the things you do to yourself. You think that everything that's going wrong is because of someone else. And you're trapped inside this world you made yourself. That's not the world I live in, this is not the life for me. 'Cuz my world's bigger than your problems and it's bigger than me."

Those lyrics just speak for itself.. that's my favorite part of the song... basically just saying that you have to deal with the consequences of your own actions, and you should learn to accept that instead of constantly complaining about it or blaming someone else.

Alot of my life can be related to this song.. I have a hard time standing up for myself when it's necessary.. so this song means alot to me. :)

Sometimes our live is so mess up, that seams we're sinking down. I think the song is an encouragement to stand up, assume are own blame for the world we live, the situation we are into; a push to change our own attitude!

"There's always someone to blame for the things you do to yourself. You think that everything that's going wrong is because of someone else. And you're trapped inside this world you made yourself."

Simply we live in the world we create... Also great song!!!
