I disagree FallOutBoyGirl4Life, I think this album is just a good, maybe even better than their self-titled album. The "Move Along" Album has songs that aren't about heartbreak, which was what the last one was all about. I think this one is them growing up a bit.
But about this song... I think that "Top of the World" is about how you shouldn't be envious of people that are "on top of the world" because eventually their fake little world is going to fall...
This song is about politics, not heartbreak.
i can't believe no one has commented on this song! its one of the best on their album...i'm pretty sure it just is talking about people who are rich and apathetic that just wither away in their miserly distastes.
honestly? i actually like the new album better... I mean, the first was great and all but the new one has more content than just broken hearts.
This song is about President Bush. These guys just aren't as good with their bashing words as Green Day was.

did they say so themselves it was about Bush? i reeally think its a song about how some people have it really made out for them, but like everybody else, you get a reality bite every once in a while, Move along isssssss that good people. This is one of my fave tracks

yea i saw them in concert too. tyson mentioned it being about when those days when shit just doenst go right. so it could be about...and this is gonna sound corny but..."the man" lol sorry. so its totally possible it could be about Bush.
