Hit The Floor Lyrics

I'm too scared to move,
too scared to lose
Tell me what I am supposed to do
I'm too close to see you,
too far to touch
And too many times I've not done enough
I'm too close to see you,
too far to touch
And too many times I've not done enough
I'm too strong to hurt you,
too weak to crush
I want to oh, oh let's go

Uh oh let's go, everyone out door
When you hear it go (hear it go) hit the floor
Let's go, everyone hit the floor
When you hear it go (hear it go) out the door
Uh oh let's go hit the floor
When you hear the sound hit the floor
Uh oh let's go hit the floor
Uh oh here we go (here we go)

I am too scared to choose,
scared to refuse
Tell me what I am supposed to do
I'm too wrong to be you,
too right to blush
And too many times I've not done enough
I'm too strong to hurt you,
too weak to crush
I want to oh, oh let's go

Uh oh let's go, everyone out door
When you hear it go (hear it go) hit the floor
Let's go, everyone hit the floor
When you hear it go (hear it go) out the door
Uh oh let's go hit the floor
When you hear the sound hit the floor
Uh oh let's go hit the floor
Uh oh here we go (here we go)

Tonight I walk alone
No matter where I've been,
no matter where I've gone
I know green lights means time to go,
but I won't let them in 'cause I might lose control, oh
Tonight I walk alone
No matter where I've been,
no matter where I've gone
I know green lights means time to go,
but I won't let them in 'cause I might lose control, oh

Uh oh let's go, everyone out door
When you hear it go (hear it go) hit the floor
Let's go, everyone hit the floor
When you hear it go (hear it go) out the door
Uh oh let's go hit the floor
When you hear the sound hit the floor
Uh oh let's go hit the floor
Uh oh here we go
Uh oh let's go, everyone out door
When you hear it go (hear it go) hit the floor
Let's go, everyone hit the floor
When you hear it go (hear it go) out the door
Uh oh let's go hit the floor
When you hear the sound hit the floor
Uh oh let's go hit the floor
Uh oh here we go (here we go)

Woah. That's all I can say.

No. I can say more.

Basically

Every single "what if" or doubt or fear or anything you ever think about... all those internal struggles...

You run from them.

Just.. hit the floor.

This is exactly how my mind works. The world is geting me down? Too many questions... just... yeah. Concert. Pain go boom! Hahahahaahahaha im really hyper

what i love about this song is it can easily be about God or a boyfriend or girlfriend. i mean i know lately i have been feeling like this sooo much, especialy the first stanza, especially "I'm too close to see you, too far to touch" i recently broke up with my boyfriend.. and i still care for him heaps, but i have to lose these feeling.. so im too close to see him... but too far to touch him (coz im not going out with him anymore) "I am too scared to choose, scared to refuse" i think if your thinking about this song in a 'religious way' this is meaning that this person is too scared to let God take control of his life, but is scaredto refuse because he knows that God is real and what will happen to him after death if her refuses... i could go through each line and explain what i mean, but i wont lol, there is just a general over veiw

I have to say my favorite part of the song is the little

"Whoo"

part after the 1st and 2nd verses, leading into the chorus...It makes me smile everytime I hear it

I have to say I can really relate to the "And to many times I've not done enough." because I've been there many times. I can relate to the whole song really but that one line is where I have been again and again.

Basically trevor builds up his frustrations and tempations and how the truth can annoy him at times and it leads up to this rocking chorus.

The boy is not sure about something. He knows what he should do, but he finds it too difficult. Inside he's sensitive, emotional man, he always feels he's not good enough. He's a musician. When he's alone, he can focus on his problems, but when he's on the stage, he has to act like he's easy-going and wants to have fun.
