The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. This is by far my favorite Vendetta Red song. I bougt the cd the day my first love and i split. So this song holds meaning to me. Plus ut has nothing to do with death so It's different for them.

My #3 song of all time. this song is so complete, it is wanting for nothing but to be listened to again and again. This was the 1st vendetta red song and i head it like 3 years ago right when it came out but i never checked the band out until about 8 months ago. it's a shame they broke up after such a momentous album as was Sisters... If i had only one album to choose to be the album to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be Sisters of the Red Death. And I don't even consider them my fav. band, that ought to tell you something. Seriously, if you haven't checked out the rest of the album, I highly recommend that you do so immediately.
