Basically about divorce I think. How kids are naive when they are young and don't have a sense about the world and the capacity to understand adult concepts: love, marriage, divorce, religion, mortality.

Mother/Father-One of Madona's saddest ballads. A truer phrase has never ben sung and cried "A victim of a kind of rage!" Madonna is very angry in her sad ballad. Madonna at her saddest!
I know this is about a parent dying, but as someone whose parents were abusive I can relate to it
