A Boston Peace Lyrics

Can you tell me
Were you a bird in another life
Cause you flew away so quickly and
with so much ease
Flapping your wings as you spread your beak to sing
Another hopeless lonely anthem
You know I'm feeling down again
I couldn't make my move
I froze in place
But so what else is new
I wish I could shed all your feathers from my head
Because all they do is keep me
stifled when I only want to tell you right now
Tear your clothes off with my teeth like some unruly uncaged beast
From your forehead to your feet
I need to feel the Boston peace
Drug like release
The sheets engulfing you
Know that I need you I want you I'm dying for you
Here in my heart where my veins are combusting for you
All that I've learned I I'm learning I'm falling for you now
For you now
Watch me sinking slowly into nothing
Nothing matters
Give me some
limb I can hold onto
Only you can save me

What a great song.

To me it's about the end of a relationship and he's trying to salvage it by telling her how much he loves her.

The hardest thing must be having to put yourself out there, say all the things you have always wanted to say, when you say it out loud it makes everything so much more real and when it becomes real you can't take it back it could only grow and become something great or a let down and when you can't say all the things you want to say it is consuming and maybe he just wants to be saved and taken off his chest but i think he lacks the courage so he`ll stay frozen till then i can truely relate

This song is so fucking amazing and I relate to it a LOT right now..

I just wish I knew where it was from :(

I've got the MP3 but I can't find anywhere what album or EP it comes from... so I don't know when it was made either. Does anyone know?

It's on their dormroom demos.

420-24/7 I have no idea how to find it either. the only time I've ever heard it is in my friends car. He has it on his ipod and I asked about it he said that he got it from one of their earlier cd's.

its too bad you dont live in the us. if you lived anywhere near illinois we could blaze sometime.

this songs equal, in my mind to apple shampoo by blink, both songs have no chorus, both talking about a girl that was lost because they didn't make a move.

right now, this and circles by all time low are my favorite songs. this song is very well done, it's very personal and deep. it's almost like a love letter but in song form.

this may sound really weird but i really like how say anything talks about sex in alot of their songs. if having sex is the best feeling someone can have, then why not write about it? think about it, what do you liked the most about your girlfriend or ex? the sex, so why not relate that in your song? it's not raunchy because there aren't any details, in fact i think its the most beautiful thing an artist can do, incorporate the most beautiful, awesome part of human and animal nature into a beautiful song.

well done say anything.

A song that I think really captures that almost manic state you're in when you're falling for someone and you know it's stupid and wrong that you're suddenly spending all your thoughts and life on this one person that might not even feel the same for you.
