Stuck Inside A Cloud Lyrics
Never slept so little
Never smoked so much
Lost my concentration I could even lose my touch
Talking to myself
Crying out loud
Only I can hear me
I'm stuck inside a cloud
I made some exhibition
I lost my will to eat
The only thing that matters to me is to touch your lotus feet
Talking to myself
Crying out loud
Only I can hear me
I'm stuck inside a cloud
Talking to myself
Crying out loud
Only I can hear me
And I'm stuck inside a cloud
Talking to myself
Crying out loud
Only I can hear me
I'm stuck inside a cloud
Never been so crazy
But I've never felt so sure
I wish I had the answer to give
Don't even have the cure
Just talking to myself crying as we part
Knowing as you leave me
I also lose my heart
Talking to myself crying as we part
Knowing as you leave me
I also lose my heart
Never smoked so much
Lost my concentration I could even lose my touch
Talking to myself
Crying out loud
Only I can hear me
I'm stuck inside a cloud
I lost my will to eat
The only thing that matters to me is to touch your lotus feet
Talking to myself
Crying out loud
I'm stuck inside a cloud
Talking to myself
Crying out loud
Only I can hear me
And I'm stuck inside a cloud
Crying out loud
Only I can hear me
I'm stuck inside a cloud
But I've never felt so sure
I wish I had the answer to give
Don't even have the cure
Knowing as you leave me
I also lose my heart
Talking to myself crying as we part
Knowing as you leave me
I also lose my heart

A beautiful song. It's probably about a dude who is very lonely and as a result he is depresed. Damn, there have been times in my life when I can really relate to this song.
RIP George Harrison. Thank you for so much great music
probably my favorite song on brainwashed!
to me, this song seems like its about his cancer and a bit about him knowing hes going to die..sad. like the part "i wish i had the answer to give, {don't even have the cure}" and this part: "the only thing that matters to me is to touch your lotus feet" to touch krishna's lotus feet is a blessing. and that's all he cares about now that hes getting close to the end.
It obviously is about George knowing he was going to die. "Never slept so little" he was troubled with the things going around his life. "Never smoked so much" he was probably smoking lots of weed to help him with his cancer treatments. "Lost my concentration, I could even lose my touch" he felt distant from what used to be important to him and is afraid he could fade even more. "Talking to myself, crying out loud, only I can hear me, I'm stuck inside a cloud" he probably remained strong until the end in front of his family, so he only reflected about this alone, the crying felt out loud but he was the only one hearing it inside his head, he was stuck in this cloud of emotions. "I made some exhibition" he was the center of attention because of his disease, he didn't like that his family and close friends saw him like that. "I lost my will to eat" cancer treatments and depression cause loss of appetite. "The only thing that matters to me is to touch your lotus feet" George was very religious and as it was mentioned before he's referring to Krishna. "Never been so crazy" all that was making him lose his mind. "But I've never felt so sure" he knew he was going to die. "I wish I had the answer to give" he didn't know why that happened to him. "Don't even have the cure" there's no specific cure for the disease. "Just talking to myself, crying as we part, knowing as you leave me, I also lose my heart" he was telling himself it would be alright, crying because he knew he was one step closer to being apart from his family, more specifically his son Dhani, and that made him feel like he was losing his heart. A beautiful song by Harrison. One of his bests in my opinion. R.I.P.
didnt george write it for/about his son Dhani?? My god he's so cute!!! adorable!!! just like his dad!!
I think River Wolf is right.... i just don't see how the lyrics could be about Dhani..... but i could be wrong!
"Talking to myself crying as we part Knowing as you leave me I also lose my heart."
sounds like a break up song too.
it reminds me of his "Dark Horse" days in "Living In The Material World." That scene when he was explaining how he drinks hot tea and honey when he loses his voice was heartbreaking. It was after his divorce and he was using drugs heavily and very underweight. He seemed so sad.
