this song says to me that a guy still loves his ex, or maybe his current g/f but everything she has done or said is painful for him, so he wants her to let him go, and not love hom anymore.

I think this song is about an ex too, but I think the "don't ask me..." part is the dreaded "can we still be friends?" line. the girl is fine without him, but he doesn't want to be 'just a friend' when he still has feelings for her. Sometimes, its better not to be friends at all, and stay away.

i think this song is about still being in love with his ex. he's hoping someway, somehow that they can be together again, so he's waiting for her, even though he knows that she wants absolutly nothing to do with him. he cant get over her and the memories that they had together. i can completly relate. i LOVE this song so so much.

great lyric, it means that although she may mean well and have good intentions, hes still hurt and will still try to move on

She hurt him. He doesn't want to be friends, even though he still loves her and he wants to be with her, he's done "waiting" for her to change. She wants to change, but he doesn't want to hear it.

20 hours deep, I think that means the hurt is sinking in and has been for 20 hours?

the guy is hurt over a broken heart and he's sick of waiting for things to change. he's sick of wanting her back.. and he's frustrated.

Basically, I'm not going to wait for you forever, I have to move on with my life, "good intentions won't change everything/anything," you've done so many bad things to me and I'm done with it and I'm realizing it now.

so he cant get over this girl, who he used to be with and hes still not over her, thus the good intentions staying friends with each other, but it wont change the way he feels about her and hes trying to move on with his life, so hes hoping that he will but hes not sure, thats why he says it 'could' be the last day. but then i guess hes also hoping to not move on?? cuz he secretly still doesnt want to so in the last line he says 'yeah i'll hold my breath and wait for you' idk. this song is pretty self explanatory.

Its about how hes been "drowning" in thoughts of her and his wanting for her company and hes been waiting for her to come and save him but she hasnt shown up even though she has "good intentions". Hes talking about how hes in pain "I'm so alone but you seem to be just fine" and shes just fine like nothings changed. In a way hes saying if you dont come now you wont have me anymore "This could be the last day that I hold my breath and wait for you"
