Love this song, and to think that people think that black sabbath are satanists who hate everything.
One of the few classic Sabbath songs from the Tony Martin era. This is from the point of view of a person questioning the awful around him. With so much pain, suffering and moral corruption can there be a God? He decides that about all people; "[God is] not one thing, We are his spirit". It is our responsibility to save the world from it's current state. The people of the world need to rise up and make the world better, get rid of the corruption that has affected our leaders.
Eternal idol, as womens....are tools of the system.
