The song is about Regret of a Vampire who made the choice to become one, thinking it would give him power only to find that the world of the damned is not so simple to survive in, he has to hide his nature from mankind for he is hated.

As the many years past it is wearing him, he lose more and more of his humanity and life seems barren to him as he struggle to give them meaning.

Wow, how can no one have said anything about this song yet?! I love it! The game where it comes from is about vampires, so I think it's about becoming a vampire and realising that your humanity is gone, you see people as food just because of the cursed bloodlines that have infected you.

Awesome game, had horrible bugs that ruined it and the art was a little bit shite, but the story was amazing...

I think this is a song about heroin addict. But they put it in a vampire game 'cos the addiction is almost the same. Man need dope as much as a vampire needs blood.

I don't think that ministry is the band who would wrote a song about vampires. But it describes well the real meaning of being a damned one, of course for a new one.(Lay my life on the line)The world fits to the descryption of the world of darkness. No control over time= The time just passing without noticeing which could mean immortality in a way which is very familiar with the dark and twisted ways of the vampires.
