this song is precious. it's so.. real, i guess. "take my hand, take my life, just don't take forever." i LOVE that. it's like- you've got me. but you don't want me. just don't leave me like this forever.

It's about someone who's in love with a girl, and eventhough they cant be together right now because of whatever reason. It seems like the girl feels SOMETHING back because the guy says "tell me what it is that keeps us from each other now" meaning they COULDD be together just because of feelings alone. Hm and then how the guy goes "close your eyes, make a wish, this could last forever" meaning...i guess it could mean various things but to me it means that "this" process of courting and stuff could take forever so make a decision kind of thing. i think its true beacause later the guy goes "but dont take forever" to decide kind of thing cuz he has his life too. it could also mean, "if you make the wish to stay together, we could last forever" kind of thing. but i think its more of the first one than the latter...if you look at the whole song.

Anyway...i think basically its about a guy that loves a girl that likes him back but doesnt know to be together or not right now. and the guy is basically saying he loves her...and its kinda like a sweet song because hes saying eventhough he knows she's unsure, he likes being entrapped inside her beauty. "No i cant let you go now. You're a part of me now. Caught by the taste of your kiss...and i dont wanna know the reason why i cant stay forever like this." He doesnt want to know why he cant stay "caught" forever...because eventhough he knows he'll need to move on later, he's willing to stay in that feeling of missing and loving the girl whos not withi him right now. Like you know that feeling when you love someone and you dont know if they'll love you back, but you're still willing to let yourself love them kinda thing? its the beauty of agony. and i feel like that's what embellished here in the song...so beautiful :)
