Blinded No More

Wow. I am quite surprised at how little a number of people have actually regarded this song. It could just be that I have a shitty taste in music, but this song is, hands down, one of the best Sonata Arctica songs I've ever heard, and Sonata Arctica is pretty much my favourite band as of late. It just sounds so...good! I can't get over how amazingly Good this song is!

Anyways, I believe that the meaning to this song has alread been demonstrated and therefore needs no explaination from my part.

Xenimme, that is such a Harsh situation...Shaggin' her second cousin? :O Jeez...the things that kids'll do these days XD I personally wouldn't have posted that info on the internet, despite this being a system of anonymity. Whatever, To each his own.

Simply about a one way love, the other person doesn't have any true, deeper feelings for his/her loved one, while the other one stays by his/her side even though is being hurt again and again. They break up, end up back, so on, or that the hurt person ends up getting into similar relationships, wishing for love even while being abused.

Sort of, this person is sucked into "love" because of some good looking gal ("Your pretty face seduced me, Blinded me from how you used me") and how that person keeps falling for the same trap again, till finally one day he realises it, and says "seeya woman, im "blinded no more", but is willing to give eternal love another go, so still seems uncertain about leaving her.

Reminds me of my current situation, fell out with a girl 'cause she's shagging her second cousin once removed, near enough drools over all the other guys i know but never has any time for me (yeah it hurts xD) and this song was probably the first song i listened to after then (even though i'd heard it before) really helps ya get through with people =]

The message is clear, and it really reflects situations of life. Xenimme got it right, and I have no misplaced comments on this! But after an experience, I discovered an different meaning. You can be manipulated like Xenimme history, but also illusionned. I met a girl I found nice, and I saw only good things in her. But at some point she ended all this in such an awfull way that my feelings for her changed in about 1min 0o. It was like a shell around her disapeared and I saw the real girl. Eh, I was blinded no more.

Ya know, I personally think this song is kinda lame. The chorus is really weak and the live version of it is pretty lame too.

It's about a man who lives someone and is misused but now they can understand that they're being treated like shit and so he is, 'blinded no more'.

I really like this song, it's one of my favourites. The lyrics are pretty clear but do someone know what are those "seven ways" to keep him near within her reach? :/
