reminds me of a guy I know...sighs...this song to me is obviously about longing...Im guessing the person in question didnt know the extent of the dude's feelings...or dudette in my case.

To me it could be a song about love or friendship! When I first gave this song a listening I realized it was what I was going through. It's kinda like someone did something that the other person thinks was so bad but they can't just come out and talk about it. So they just turn away and leave and there's a lost friendship. Everytime i listen to this song I cry but I'm still in love with it! one of my favorites!

i think its about someone who screwed up (the singer) and the person they are singing about wont forgive them and will be happier leaving the screw up behind, but the screw up just wants another chance.
kind of reminds me where im at with my ex girlfriend who cheated on me and i still won't forgive her but she keeps trying to be friends.
