Scapegoat Lyrics
Abandoned broken and bleeding,
A feast for their eyes a spectacle.
A martyr of the forsaken,
A scapegoat for their suffering.
Burn me alive,
Burn me alive.
I feel the hatred behind their eyes.
Burn me alive.
In eager circles to watch me die.
Burn me.
As silence falls through the masses,
The cruelest display of sacrifice.
A savior of the abandoned,
A scapegoat for their suffering.
Burn me alive,
Burn me alive.
I feel the hatred behind their eyes.
Burn me alive.
In eager circles to watch me die.
Burn me.
Abandoned broken and bleeding,
A feast for their eyes a spectacle.
A martyr of the forsaken,
A scapegoat for their suffering.
Burn me alive,
Burn me alive,
Burn me alive.
Burn me.
A feast for their eyes a spectacle.
A martyr of the forsaken,
A scapegoat for their suffering.
Burn me alive.
I feel the hatred behind their eyes.
Burn me alive.
In eager circles to watch me die.
Burn me.
The cruelest display of sacrifice.
A savior of the abandoned,
A scapegoat for their suffering.
Burn me alive.
I feel the hatred behind their eyes.
Burn me alive.
In eager circles to watch me die.
Burn me.
A feast for their eyes a spectacle.
A martyr of the forsaken,
A scapegoat for their suffering.
Burn me alive,
Burn me alive.
Burn me.

Thanks for the correction bing_thing.
If the parts about burning had been replaced with crucifixion this would probably been a song about jesus.. just a thought.. anyway the lyrics pretty much explain themselves
when i first saw these guys, i thought they looked a little, "hardcore", but completely misjudged them cuz this song blew me away
This song is NOT about jesus fucking christ, agony scene is NOT a chrisian band
are you kidding me? you have to be ignorant to think this is NOT an allusion to christ, and by the way, A BAND DOES NOT HAVE TO BE "CHRISTIAN" TO MAKE SPIRITUAL ALLUSION.
The burning may very well mean burning with pain (ie. whipped, stabbed, etc.). And ENi must not be a big fan to not even know they started out on a Christian label.
Whatever kids, it really does sound like an allusion to Christ, maybe Joan of Arc though? Dunno.
yall are all on crack..lol..its about the point of view through a witches eyes at the salem with trials...think about it...fuck jesus, they wouldnt talk about his bitch-ass...lol.
the only one not on crack is epyon346...that person is cool...he/she even know a little of the Agony Scenes past...round-of-applause..
Wow I didn't know they started on a Christian label...interesting. But yes the whole witch thing makes sense to me. I never really thought about it, but it made sense in the back of my mind. Haha Ruin the Religion is funny
