From grace she fell beneath the ashes
That forced her to her knees
Cut her open wide

To bleed her body dry of feeling
The wounds the wounds will form no scars, only memories..

Tearing at the scars, she's open wide
Screaming 'til her lungs collapse
(Inside)
Behind her cold and vacant eyes,
Her innocence that dies inside..
Dies inside!

The tears that line her face..
The anguish!
The lies she'd fed herself
Closing, loveless eyes

To bleed her body dry the feeling
Of breath escaping lips, closing lifeless eyes

Tearing at the scar, she's open wide
Screaming 'til her lungs collapse
(Inside)
Behind her cold and vacant eyes,
Her innocence that dies inside..
Dies inside!

She dies inside!
She dies inside!
She dies in

Tearing at the scar, she's open wide
Screaming 'til her lungs collapse
(Inside!)
Behind her cold and vacant eyes,
Her innocence that dies inside..
Dies inside!
Tearing at the scars and now she's open wide
A broken, bitter heart that's stained in black
Behind her cold and vacant eyes,
Her innocence that dies inside..
Dies inside!

I guess, but I don't really see how this song is about a whore, like Shotgun Wedding.. I imagine this song is about a depressed teenage girl who slits her wrists, kinda cliche', but the video seems to suggest this song is about an older woman who is reminiscing about the horrible life she has lived..

I think it's about a woman who realizes the life she's lived. She realizes the pain and suffering she's caused, and it tears her apart. In the video the inner ugliness begins to show. The realization is what turns her eyes cold and kills her innocence.

it kinda goes along the lines of rape, but it hints to looking back on the horrors of yesterday...I guess

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
