Might be. The depriving of innocence is a clue in that direction, but the culprits comeuppance is also mentioned, so maybe the woman get back at him at the very last?

well! it coulb an abortion but what about "you thought is not going to happen to you" i dont know about that, maybe is just that someone becuase it doesnt have to be a woman even though it is a woman who is singing but it could be another sin that a person is regreting, it does tells about GUILT

It sounds more like someone who has committed an unspecified crime against someone else is going to suffer from guilt for the rest of their life, and is considered their punishment.

This is my interpretation and I hope it is helpful...I find the story of this young woman having to prostitude, steal and beg to live is very touching and must make us all wonder who are governing us and why we have chose them...

I think that it could be about woman, that cheated on her partner and got pregnant of it. She realizes that it was mistake and loves her partner, but it's too late and suffers from lost love.
