Anyone think this could possibly be directed at Courtney Love? He's written several songs directed at (or about) her in the past, maybe this is him making his peace and moving on.

This song being about Courtney Love makes since. I can't think of another person it would be about.
Itrytobreathe, That was initially what I thought too when I heard "This is the last song I'll dedicate to you." Then I heard, "Made my peace, now I'm through" and thought that could mean that he's come to terms with Cobain's death and he's not as angry with Courtney any more. Just my thoughts.
Firstly Eatcarpet keep ya negative thinking to yourself by, well eating a carpet i guess. And Secondly the song Stacked Actors (my fav ff song) was directed specifically at Courtney Love so yes, Dave Grohl has written songs about Courtney Love.

Is it only me that thinks the main guitar riff to this song sounds a bit similar to Breakout???
I can't listen to this song and not hear the same riff from "Learn to fly"....they both sound very close.
