this song hits close to home for me b/c i lost my mom when I was 19. Dierks is awesome, and I love him.

this song deserves more reviews. he's one of the few artists me and my own mom both like - she likes how his voice sounds a little older despite his age - i like his style and the topics he chooses to sing about. I like to think this song is about how he lost his mom a year ago and how he still misses her but is seeing a new girl in his life who reminds him a lot of his mom (do we choose partners that remind us of our own parents?) Anyway good song, a good addition rather, as it has a lot of the same lyrics as "Distant Shore" which I like to think of as a song about moving on despite how hard it is and just knowing that eventually you'll get over it - whatever it is.
